Felted Handbags
Our Handbag Knit Kits offer several levels of skill. Because they are all felted, they are very forgiving of those mistakes we all make in our first attempts. The Argyle, Flower Power, Kazak Star, Santa Fe and Bubbles Tote are all perfect for learning intarsia. The houndstooth bags, the African, Caribbean and Tribal bags all use 2 colors at a time — perfect for learning Fair Isle knitting. All the striped bags are perfect for first projects as they are all designed using very simple instructions. Many of these kits are perfect for "on-the-go" knitting, as a lot of them are made in pieces and then sewn together. As always, the kits come packaged in reusable plastic boxes.

The Felted Tribal Bucket:
This Knit Kit includes a full-color pattern and enough wool/mohair blend yarn to make one tote. The finished size of the tote after felting is 13" high by 12" in diameter with knotted shoulder strap. Required, but not included, are a 29" circular needle and a set of double point needles in US size 10½, a tapestry needle and stitch markers. Available in Black/Red or NEW! Brown/Blue.

The Felted Harvest Bucket:
This Knit Kit includes a full-color pattern and enough wool/mohair blend yarn to make one tote. The finished size of the tote after felting is 12" high by 10" in diameter with twisted shoulder strap. Required, but not included, are a 29" circular needle and a set of double point needles in US size 10½, a tapestry needle and stitch markers.

The Felted Houndstooth Bucket:
This Knit Kit includes a full-color pattern and enough wool/mohair blend yarn to make one tote. The finished size of the tote after felting is 13" high by 10" in diameter with 60" drawstring handles. Required, but not included, are a 29" circular needle and a set of double point needles in US size 10½, a tapestry needle and stitch markers. Available in three colorways: Chocolate/Pink, Fuchsia/Periwinkle, & Periwinkle/Turquoise. Buttons may vary.

The Felted Bubbles Tote:
This fun Knit Kit includes a full-color pattern and enough wool/mohair blend yarn to make one tote. The finished size of the tote after felting is 12" high by 10" wide and 4" deep with 22" handles. Required, but not included, are a 29" circular needle and a set of double point needles in US size 10½, a tapestry needle and stitch markers. Available in "Retro" with a chocolate background.

The Penobscot Felted Tote:
One of the newest addition to our line of handbags, these Knit Kits include a full-color pattern, enough wool/mohair blend yarn and a pair of bamboo handles to make one tote. The finished size of the tote after felting is 12" high by 12" wide and 4" deep with sewn on handles. Required, but not included, are a 29" circular needle in US size 10½, a tapestry needle and stitch markers. Handles are included. Available in Navy or Chianti.

The Felted Handled Tote:
One of the newest addition to our line of handbags, these larger Knit Kits include a full-color pattern and enough wool/mohair blend yarn to make one tote. The finished size of the tote after felting is 14" high by 11" wide and 4" deep with sewn on handles. Required, but not included, are a 29" circular needle in US size 10½, a tapestry needle and stitch markers. Handles are included. Available in African with black and red or Caribbean with bright lime and blue.

Bucket Bags:
This Knit Kit comes with enough wool/mohair blend yarn and a button to complete one handbag. The finished size of the bag after felting is approximately 8" in diameter by 9" tall, with a 44 " shoulder strap. Required but not included, are a 24" circular needle and a set of double point needles in US size 10½. Available in three colorways, Black, Heather and Aubergine. Buttons may vary.

The Felted Tote:
This Knit Kit includes a full-color pattern and enough wool/mohair blend yarn to make one tote. The finished size of the tote after felting is 12" high by 10" wide and 4" deep with 22" handles. Required, but not included, are a 29" circular needle and a set of double point needles in US size 10½, a tapestry needle and stitch markers. Now available in two colorways: The Fiesta with bright turquoise, orange, and lime, or The Jewel with rich fuchsia and jade.

Striped Zip Bag:
This Knit Kit comes with a full-color pattern, enough worsted weight wool/mohair blend yarn and a sturdy metal zipper, to complete one felted shoulder bag. The finished size of the bag after felting is approximately 10" x 6" with a 44" shoulder strap. Required, but not included, is a set of US size 10½ needles.

Houndstooth handbags:
These Knit Kits come with enough wool/mohair blend yarn and a button to complete one handled handbag. The finished size of the bag after felting is approximately 8" wide by 9" tall with 2" sides and bottom and 14" handles. Required, but not included, are a pair of straight and a set of double point needles in US size 10½. Available in four colorways: Bermuda Bay, Blackberry, Bermuda Sunset and Bel Air. Buttons may vary.

Flower Power, Kazak Star, Santa Fe, and Argyle Bags:
These Knit Kits come with a full-color pattern, enough worsted weight wool/mohair blend yarn and a button closure, to complete one felted shoulder bag. The finished size of the bags after felting is approximately 7" x 9" with a 44" shoulder strap. Required, but not included, are a set of US size 10½ needles and a tapestry needle. Buttons may vary.
